The Love Island star is known for her flawless, dewy skin... So it's just as well she's done an everyday make-up tutorial to share with her fans, isn't it?!
Love Island’s Kady McDermott always has flawless skin. FACT. And this week the reality star has been showing fans how to easily recreate her glowing complexion.
When you’re too busy to spend hours blending that perfect smokey eye, this clever lady has let us in on some quick beauty hacks so we can all rock the understated, fresh-faced look. Result.
Kady posted the video on the YouTube channel she shares with boyfriend Scott Thomas, and after telling followers she’s already cleansed and moisturised her blemish-free skin, the 21-year-old gets started on the simple routine.
First-up Kady mixes the NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator, £7, and Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, £33, together to get the perfect, dewy base. Genius.
Picking up her favourite Spectrum A03 foundation brush, the reality star says: “I’m just going to start in the centre of my face, and literally just spread all over.” Simple right?
Offering a top tip, Kady then takes a second Spectrum brush – this time the B01 – and gently buffs her skin to get rid of any lines. She recommends: “Blend it into your neck a little bit because you don’t want them harsh foundation lines.” Too right we don’t.
With the base done, next up is banishing those dark circles. Kady uses NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in shade Custard, £22, explaining: “I like to conceal under the eyes for it to be a little bit lighter because I think it gives brightness to the eyes and it just makes you look more awake.”
After adding a touch of mascara, the star gets started on a bit of subtle contouring. Using Benefit Girl Meets Pearl, £22, Kady lightly dabs the shimmer on her cheekbones, nose, above her lips and under those perfect brows. “It’s nice for everyday because it’s not silver or gold,” she explains. Before adding: “It’s not too harsh, it’s more of a pinky, pearly colour so looks really natural.”
The star then sweeps the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, £22, from the top of her cheek bone, telling fans: “When you contour you should always start from the highest point… You want to blend it down.”
For the final stage of skin perfection, Kady chooses a matte MAC blush, £18.50, in the warm shade, Gingerly. “You can go for shimmer but because I’ve got a highlight on, I don’t want a shimmery blush as well,” she admits.
“You don’t want to look like a disco ball going to work.”
With a final spray of MAC Fix Plus, £17.50, the gorgeous star’s makeup is done. Now excuse us while we go and try this flawless day-look immediately.
